To do this log into your account or if you do not have one then read my blog titled "Use Google analytics to track email effectiveness" which tells you how to create an account.

First things first we need to know what the IP address is to stop recording stats. So go to www.whatismyipaddress.com, this web site will tell you your IP address.

Next log into www.google.com/analytics and log in.

Now select Edit which is under actions on the left hand side. Scroll down to Filters Applied to Profile and click +Add Filter

You can either add a new filter or apply an existing one in this instance we are creating a new one.
